The B&B Al Colle is situated on the side of the lake of Caldonazzo where the hill of Tenna is. It is close to the village of Tenna and at the foothills of the wood of Alberè, with a wonderful view over the lake, the mount Vigolana and the Pizzo di Levico.
One of the main features of the area is its quietness, given that it is out of the village and no many other houses are in its surroundings.
The house, which was originally an old maso (country house), is surrounded by a big garden and it is divided into two areas, the living one and the one dedicated to the guests, which is independent from the other.
We have 3 rooms for our guests, all with en-suite, heating and television.
Room n. 1: it is on the ground floor. It is provided with a double bed and a single sofa bed, furnished with old trentino-style furniture.
Room n. 2: it is on the first floor. It is quite big and has two areas, the sleeping one (with a double bed) and the living room with two sofa beds.
Room n. 3: it is on the first floor. It is quite big, and has two areas, the sleeping one (with a double bed) and the living room with two sofa beds. It also has a nice balcony.
All the guests can freely take advantage of the big garden to sunbathe in the open air.
Breakfast, which may be eaten also in the front yard during nice sunny days, is based essentially on local products.
Thanks to its location and the wonderful road network, from Tenna you can plan many short and long excursions to visit some of the well-known sights and cities but also isolated and less popular, but not less fascianting and attractive.
In a short time you can reach the Mocheni Valley, linguistic isolated area with typical sights, the plateau of Lavarone and Folgaria with the forts of the first world war and the cross-country skiing slopes, the Panarotta with 18 km ski slopes and the hand-gliding launching ramps, the plateau of Pinè with the lakes of Serraia and Piazze, the town of Trento with its nice historical centre and the Castle of Buonconsiglio, Rovereto with the Mart museum, Levico with the spa and the Habsburg palaces, Pergine, Caldonazzo, Borgo and then 70 km away Bassano del Grappa, 80 km Bolzano, 120 km Padova, 150 km Innsbruck and Venice that you can reach by train.
From Tenna you can go on day-trips to the nicest locations in the Dolomites, such as the Fiemme and Fassa valleys, the lake of Molveno and Andalo, at the footsteps of the Brenta mountain chain, the Cadore, the passes Sella and Rolle, Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo, the Garda lake with the little towns Riva del Garda, Sirmione, Lazise. |
